Today I am reviewing MuscleTech casein protein.

So before reviewing MuscleTech casein protein, let me tell you about the casein first.
Casein protein is a slow releasing protein, why is fast digesting protein, Which is your absorb protein fast to speed up the recovery.
Casein supplies protein for around 7 to 8 hours.

Why you need it?

You mostly get fast and medium digesting protein all day.

Night time before you sleep we don't need fast protein which our body breaks fats, If you take Whey protein it digest in 30 minutes, your body goes into catabolic in 7 to 10 hours.
muscle breakdown happens in the catabolic stage. Your body should be in anabolic so you gain muscle during sleep.

You know that your height, body, hair grows at night when you sleep, so yes that time your body is in recovery mode when you sleep.
So keep your body in anabolic by adding Casein Protein. You can take it before bed it is a perfect time.

What is inside Casein Protein?

1 scoop  - 31g per serving
Protein - 24g
Fat - 0.2g
Carbohydrate - 2g
Fiber - 1g
Sugar - 1g
BCAA - 5.2g
Leucine ISO - Leucine Valine - 2:1:1

You know they add artificial flavour like meta-dextrin or sucralose and in this protein add sucralose.
It's fine because you are taking only 1 serving a day.

Now we talk about Taste.
  • All casein protein doesn't taste great because it's pretty thick protein.
  • You have to add a little extra water.
  • Its flavour will be less tastier then whey but have lots of benefits.

Now we will talk about Mixability
  • Because of the thick protein, its mixability is not that great.
  • Every brand has the same thing, so just add 50 to 100 ml extra water.
